Experience the East Coast: A Journey Beyond the Scenery
The East Coast is undeniably home to world-class mountain and ocean views, but what truly makes this place special is its rich Indigenous culture and the communities that call it home. For travelers, simply admiring the stunning landscapes without experiencing the culture is a missed opportunity. And for the local tribes, having visitors come and go without truly understanding or connecting with their way of life is equally disheartening.
This is why the East Coast Tribal Work Exchange Program was created—built on the idea of collaborating with local communities to accomplish something meaningful together. Volunteers are invited to support daily tribal activities, helping to bridge workforce gaps while immersing themselves in local life. Over four days and three nights, you’ll share meals, stay with the community, and truly become a part of the tribe—forming lasting friendships and deep connections to this land and its people.
