Five Senses, Forest Experience
With their resonant singing voices, the Bunun people tell the story of how their ancestors migrated here, crossing the high mountains and enduring hardship. From a cave where the ancestors once lived, follow the Bunun people along a narrow path into the forest. A forest that seems quiet to us, appears differently to indigenous hunters. Wild boar tracks are wider, while those of Formosan Reeves’ muntjac are narrower and longer. This lush forest is teeming with life.
